Look at the list above. Not one of those eighteen roles got there by accident. Each company has stood on our stage, and each one is hiring people who've already met a founder.
The listing is the last step of hiring, not the first. By the time a role is posted, the founder usually has a short list in mind, and the people on it are the ones who showed up early. That's the whole idea behind the Shortlist: be early, be in the room, be memorable.
